Steak and Polenta

This is a true "left-overs" bento. I have been doing sandwiches lately (since I got my new Mega Lunch Bucket), so when I ran out of bread I decided it was time to go back to Mr. Bento.

Today, we have some left-over steak that I cut up into cubes, some polenta that I grilled, haricots verts, hard-boiled eggs and wasabi peas. A pretty hearty lunch.

Mmm looks yummy. How do you make the polenta?

Hi Yvo,
Typically I will make polenta from scratch, but for my bento, I used tube polenta, cut it in 1/2 inch slices, brushed them with a little olive oil and then grilled them. Easy peasy.

That one really is a man's bento. My husband wants it now, but I told him he should follow your example and make it himself. That idea wasn't as attractive to him somehow.
