Do you put anything on the udon noodles to keep them from sticking to each other when they're cold?
Actually I don't...but the thing I have noticed is that if you boil the noodles in a good amount of water, they are way less sticky than if you boil them in a smaller pot. I am sure if you were to add some kind of sauce, or use them like a summer salad, then you would really be okay RE: the stickiness.
I don't think I've used udon in home cooking, just soba. I'll give this a try- udon just seems to absorb flavors better.
